Racism climate on Immigration? Anti Immigrant said No, what about you?

Prince William County, Virginia becomes ground zero in Americas explosive battle over immigration policy when elected officials adopt a law requiring police officers to question anyone they have "probable cause" to suspect is an undocumented immigrant.

9500 Liberty reveals the startling vulnerability of a local government, targeted by national anti-immigration networks using the Internet to frighten and intimidate lawmakers and citizens. Alarmed by a climate of fear and racial division, residents form a resistance using YouTube videos and virtual town halls, setting up a real-life showdown in the seat of county government.

The devastating social and economic impact of the Immigration Resolution is felt in the lives of real people in homes and in local businesses. But the ferocious fight to adopt and then reverse this policy unfolds inside government chambers, on the streets, and on the Internet. 9500 Liberty provides a front row seat to all three battlegrounds

How to educate someone as bigotry like Lou Dobbs?

Well, Lou you are on my agenda for Immigration and History classes because you won't change you uneducated language and your Anti Journalism.

Clarissa Martinez De Castro, director of immigration and national campaigns for the National Council of La Raza, says that money inspires the anti-immigration rhetoric of talk radio hosts and CNN’s Lou Dobbs. She took part in a panel discussion at an Anti-Defamation League (ADL) conference in Washington, D.C. on Monday.

The thing about Lou Dobbs is you can’t educate somebody like Lou Dobbs,” Martinez said. “Because what guys like Lou Dobbs does, or what he did at some point, at this point, I’m not sure if he’s lost it completely. Continue reading here:

On Earth Day, environmentalists must not link arms with anti-immigrant forces.

The goal of these anti-immigrant groups is to lure the environmental community into an America First-style immigration policy.

On Earth Day, the environmental movement in the United States must reject bigotry. It should not join hands with anti-immigrant groups.

These groups are trying to infiltrate the environmental movement and coopt its message. Continue reading here:

Empowering Youth hispanics to join drugs, gangs, crime and they are the least educated. According to Lloyd Carter

.

Apology...No way..look at the tone of voice and his face remarks. I am wonder where Mr. Carter buying his foods?. Look at video and judge for yourself.

So I am proud to say that both my parents were hard working farmworkers. So, if we apply your theories about farmworkers and their children to me, I am not educated, I am a criminal, I am on welfare and I must be dealing in drugs with my gang.

This may be news to you, but I am educated (I have a BA in International Laws). I am also proud to say that I have never been arrested, been on welfare, never using drugs and I have never had a desire to belong to a gang. And by the way, when it was time for my mother she never use any Goverment benefits at all..imagine that!!!

Also, please stop referring to human beings as illegal aliens...i would recommend that you refer to them as undocumented workers. God give you a lighted guidance for your soul. God Bless you...

Stimulus bill for Liars like Lou Dobbs and Bill O’Reilly.

From what I've been able to find on reputable sites, (New York Times, Factcheck.org) and from my own knowledge Undocumented Immigrants pay more than 7 billion dollars into the system each year in Social Security payroll deductions and 1.5 billion dollars in Medicare taxes.

Most of the people use fake social Security cards or ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) to get jobs and most don't collect. Both Social Security and medicare would be in even worse shape if the undocumented workers were able to collect benefits but they are not entitled to any benefits.

Even if some are getting benefits, the overwhelming majority pay into the systems but never get anything from the system.

I'm not making excuses; I am just trying not to be blinded by the message of hatred from those who really are reacting without thinking their positions through.

Pushing false information has lasting consequences on the image of immigrants, and those perceived to be foreign.

On January 29, 2009, Associated Press staff writer Julie Hirschfeld Davis, released the article “Hill Republican: Stimulus aids illegal immigrants” where the false assertion was made that the Stimulus package would provide money for undocumented immigrants:

The $800 billion-plus economic stimulus measure making its way through Congress could steer government checks to illegal immigrants, a top Republican congressional official asserted Thursday.

Shortly after its publication, the story gained a lot of public attention by the conservative news site The Drudge Report, CNN’s Lou Dobbs, and FOX News. Hours after the false claim was retracted by the AP (3:02 p.m. ET), these “news organizations” repeated it nonetheless. The Drudge Report kept the link to the uncorrected AP story up for 4 hours. Dobbs made the claim at 5:27 pm ET. FOX News repeated the claim at 6:09 pm ET, and then again at 8:16 pm ET on Bill O’Reilly’s.

As it turned out, the one single anonymous source was later withdrawn and the article was rewritten to show the information provided by that source had been false.

A senior GOP congressional official expressed concern Thursday that the bill could steer government checks to undocumented workers, but in fact the measure prevents anyone without a Social Security number from claiming tax credits of $500 per worker and $1,000 per couple.

Stories like these tend to instigate anti-immigration sentiments given the controversial topic, and Fox News, Lou Dobbs, and the Drudge Report only add fuel to the fire. The point is simple: pushing false information has the lasting consequences on the image of immigrants, and those perceived to be foreign. Ineffectively informing the public about two important issues, immigration and the economy, will only strengthen the tensions amongst the various ideologies debating these topics.

Republicans Mission Accomplished?. Legacy or Minority Party?

A reflective President Bush acknowledged a number of blunders that have marred his White House years, but he told a small group of Texas reporters that he has "a great sense of accomplishment and I am going home with my head held high."

Bush mused fondly about his future life in Dallas, saying he looked forward to walking down supermarket aisles, sitting in a rocking chair with old friends and staying out of the public spotlight.

"I am looking forward to going back to Texas," the former Texas governor said. "I am going home to a place where I've got a lot of friends - people who will be my friends regardless of what happened in politics."

In a 51-minute interview in the Oval Office, the president discussed his eight years in office and admitted to missteps such as failing to pass comprehensive immigration reform, allowing the infamous "Mission Accomplished" banner to be unveiled and using incendiary language in the run-up to war.

But Bush stoutly defended his decision to wage wars in Iraq and Afghanistan following the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks that shaped his presidency. And he said his move to bail out foundering financial institutions was necessary to avoid an economic collapse worse than the Great Depression.

When Bush leaves office in a couple of days, he plans to divide his time between his Crawford, Texas, ranch and a spacious home in the exclusive Preston Hollow neighborhood in Dallas.

"Laura bought a house," he joked. "I haven't seen it yet. They say it's a beauty."

The president said he planned to write a memoir about his tumultuous presidency that will "put people in my place," as well as "give some speeches" and "spend some time on the (Southern Methodist University) campus," where his presidential library and freedom institute will be built. He said he told President-elect Barack Obama earlier this week that he'd be "more than willing" to listen if the new commander in chief had "some tasks he may want me to take on."

Before leaving office, the president said he is likely to deliver a farewell address to the nation that would include thanks, praise and discussion of lessons he has learned.

In the interview, Bush pointed to accomplishments including a series of tax cuts, two energy bills, the No Child Left Behind education legislation, expansion of Medicare to include a senior citizen prescription drug benefit and free-trade pacts.

He said he is "pleased with the progress we have made in dismantling al Qaeda." But, he acknowledged, "it's been hard to keep the American people convinced there's still a threat."

Among his political setbacks, Bush particularly regrets the failure of immigration legislation, which was killed by the Senate in 2007.

"I'm very disappointed it didn't pass," he said. "I'm very worried about the message that said Republicans are anti-immigrant."

Bush also admitted to several war-related missteps. The infamous "Mission Accomplished" banner on an aircraft carrier after U.S. troops toppled Saddam Hussein's regime in Iraq was a mistake, he said, because "it conveyed a sense of finality in the Iraqi theater." And his rhetoric, he conceded, "at times has been a little rough and over the top."

Bush says he will miss the creature comforts of the presidency - the luxury of Air Force One, the convenience of having a helicopter outside your back door and the "fantastic" service at the White House.

"I don't know what it's going to be like to wake up on the morning of the 21st of January," he acknowledged.

President Bush called for a ‘compassionate’ Republican Party and warned against the GOP becoming ‘anti-immigrant’ in one of his last interviews as president, defending his vision of the party, which has become unpopular among some Republicans And I wonder How Mr. George Bush wake up every morning thinking and doesn't know how Millions of People lost their houses, their employment, their value of their houses, their dreams, their Hope, their American faith and Values and not realized to do anything about it. Ashamed Mr. Bush and Hypocrisy is not a family value.

Encounter racial Prejudice.

The Sept. 11 attacks, the Iraq war and suicide bombings worldwide have changed not only the way we live but the way we look at those around us, especially Muslims. "Islamophobia", Latinos specially Mexicans, has entered the American vernacular, and the anti-Muslim, Anti Mexican, Anti Immigrant attitudes and prejudice it describes remain strong common. study examined how encountering racial prejudice affects cognitive functioning. The cognitive impact of exposure to ambiguous versus blatant cues to prejudice depended on subjects' racial group. Black subjects experienced the greatest impairment when they saw ambiguous evidence of prejudice, whereas White subjects experienced the greatest impairment when they saw blatant evidence of prejudice. Given the often ambiguous nature of contemporary expressions of prejudice, these results have important implications for the performance of ethnic minorities across many domains.

Congressman Joe Baca Condomned the rethoric language of the Anti Immigrants.

I want to emphasize the great job of Mr. Joe baca has been contribute to stop raids and the rhetoric, Anti Immigrant Language against Latinos specially Mexicans.
Joe Baca was born the youngest of 15 siblings in Belen, New Mexico in a household that spoke little English. He moved with his family to California where he graduated from California State University. In 1979, he became the first Latino elected to the Board of Trustees for the San Bernardino Valley College District. He was elected to the California State Assembly in 1992, where he became the first Latino Speaker pro Tempore, and was elected to the State Senate in 1998. Joe Baca is currently the Chairman of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.

This Video shows in startling detail how Lou Dobbs, Glenn Beck, and Bill O'Reilly serve up a steady diet of fear, anger, and resentment on the subject of illegal immigration," said Karl Frisch, a spokesman for Media Matters Action Network. "When they aren't demonizing undocumented immigrants with misleading claims, this trio of cable news bullies is advancing baseless urban legends and wild accusations targeting the immigrant community. CNN and Fox News need to answer for this -- failure to do so would be the height of irresponsible journalism and a disservice to the American public
."

The report discusses, in detail, two types of myths regarding immigration perpetuated on cable news. The first are the largest and most common myths, such as those about crime and undocumented immigrants, and the costs of illegal immigration in social services and taxes. The second are the urban legends, such as the purported conspiracy to take back the Southwest United States for Mexico and the supposed secret plan to construct a "NAFTA Superhighway" running from Canada to Mexico.

Illegal Immigration is a crime? By Michael Vargas

How many times do you hear that Illegals are Criminals? I assured you thousands times and probably you hear from people, and politicians distinguished themselves from others from being educated.
Well, On my understanding; Citizens and Non Citizens have and deserve a Human and Civil Rights then how come politicians, Anti Immigrants, Xenophobics and Nativists are so ignorant of the Law?

If I used the word illegal on my blog is not because I like that word. I totally condemned to be used and labeled to Undocumented Immigrants for political purpose, journalists ratings, and for personal gains. For me There is no such an Illegal Human being period.

And That is a real proof of racial panic: being in the U.S. illegally is "a low-level federal misdemeanor punishable by up to six months in jail and/or a fine of $50 to $250" "unlawful presence" is a civil, not criminal, offense. Why then do some people argue for everything from shooting them to mass deportations? Especially since most are law-abiding apart from their immigration status.
See the classification and understanding of Title 8, Section 1325 under U.S. Code which does subject the Civil penalties but not as a CRIME.

Which determine under the civil rights of any Individual that any charges against the defendants are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty
.
Meaning that you cannot be held against your will without just cause. To put it another way, you cannot be jailed if there are no charges against you. If you are being held, and you demand it, the courts must issue a writ of habeas corpus, which forces those holding you to answer as to why. If there is no good or compelling reason, the court must set you free. It is important to note that of all the civil liberties we take for granted today as a part of the Bill of Rights, the importance of habeas corpus is illustrated by the fact that it was the sole liberty thought important enough to be included in the original text of the Constitution
.

Section 1325. Improper entry by alien (Foreigner)

(a) Improper time or place; avoidance of examination or inspection;
misrepresentation and concealment of facts

Any alien (Foreigner) who (1) enters or attempts to enter the United States
at any time or place other than as designated by immigration
officers
,
or (2) eludes examination or inspection by immigration
officers,

or (3) attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United
States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the
willful concealment of a material fact, shall, for the first
commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18 or
imprisoned not more than 6 months, or both, and, for a subsequent
commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18, or
imprisoned not more than 2 years, or both
.

(b) Improper time or place; civil penalties

Any alien (Foreigner)who is apprehended while entering (or attempting to
enter) the United States at a time or place other than as
designated by immigration officers shall be subject to a civil
penalty
of -

(1) at least $50 and not more than $250 for each such entry (or
attempted entry); or

(2) twice the amount specified in paragraph (1) in the case of
an alien who has been previously subject to a civil penalty under
this subsection.

Civil penalties under this subsection are in addition to, and not
in lieu of, any criminal or other civil penalties that may be
imposed.

(c) Marriage fraud

Any individual who knowingly enters into a marriage for the
purpose of evading any provision of the immigration laws shall be
imprisoned for not more than 5 years, or fined not more than
$250,000, or both
.

(d) Immigration-related entrepreneurship fraud

Any individual who knowingly establishes a commercial enterprise
for the purpose of evading any provision of the immigration laws
shall be imprisoned for not more than 5 years, fined in accordance
with title 18, or both
.

What's most disturbing, and the largest indicator that America concerns are really racist rather than a concern about immigration, is the amount of hostility there is towards Hispanics and Latinos regardless of whether they are here legally (and I must respectfully and completely disagree with one of my friends on this-- no, you cannot "tell" who is Undocumented just by how they look/act/speak). There is a bunch of hypocrites on our society specially the Nativists, Extremists and Minutemen Members.
What really gets me is how these minutemen stand around Home Depot protesting day laborers and calling them "illegals" when they really have no clue who is "legal" or not. If that's not racist and racial profiling I don't know what is
.
I will said asks, "Why do ICE agents wear bulletproof vests and full combat gear when they go on these raids? [of factories, etc., whose employees may be Undocumented Immigrants]... most of the time they are facing terrified civilian factory workers or illegal tenement dwellers who know their lives are about to be uprooted and are trembling in their pants, holding on to their babies or looking to run away. Have their been any recorded instances at all of undocumented workers standing and fighting these armored Squad Teams?
"

What really struck me, is the exact parallels to immigrant-phobia in earlier periods of US history. The exact same complaints were made about the Italians, the Irish, the Germans, the Chinese and, yes, the Jews. During WWII, we turned away Jewish refugees, including the infamous "ship of the damned" incident-- for same fears-- they carried disease, spoke another language, and would steal all our jobs. I'm not making this up-- look up some periodicals from those time periods. And for those who argue that those Jews were fleeing in fear of their lives (I have to say, for some their had had to escape to America illegally, I wouldn't have begrudged them that opportunity!), while the Hispanics are just lazy... do you have any idea what Hispanics, Latinos from South Americans go through to get here? Apart from the basic threat to their lives, that is... Families torn apart, people giving up every cent and everything they've ever known on their entire life... people don't do anything like that know on days. They do it because they know it's the only reason their children will have a decent chance and a better life. Would you risk your life for your Family?.

And to finalize this argument Crime is statistically lower among Undocumented than among citizens, The FBI report that in 2007, the Violent crime dropped 1.4 percent overall compared to 2006, reversing a two-year up tick. That includes decreases in all four offense, Property crime declined 2.1 percent from 2006, with decreases in each city grouping. Arson—tracked separately from other property crimes—also fell 7.0 percent from 2006; despite gang problems. When crime rates rose in country along with an immigration wave, they did not rise where the immigrants were, but in other places. This makes sense if you think about it. These people have come hundred of miles and risked everything to get here. Are they going to draw attention to themselves and risk getting thrown back out? Of course not. It was a problem of growing gang activity among particularly the teenagers of legal immigrant families and second generations. What do you expect? They're adjusting to a new culture where they're not particularly welcome. Much of our fear is due to disproportionate reporting. Anything good done by Undocumented is ignored, while any crime committed even by Hispanic citizens is seen as reason to limit immigration. God Bless America. The Salad Bowl.!!!!!!!!

Help Manassas and their Anti Immigrant Agenda

John Stirrup appointed Robert Duecaster, member of Click here: Help save Manassas and Click here: FAIR and author of the original resolution in (conjunction with Greg Letieq and John Stirrup), to the 2012 Strategic Plan’s Goal Task Force on Human Services. If you aren't familiar with PWC committees task forces, you should know that these are the people who recommend policy to the BOCS.

From the job description: INTRODUCTION Prince William County is in the midst of developing its fifth strategic plan.

Prince William County Board of County Supervisors (BOCS) has drafted four strategic goals for the 2009-2012 Strategic Plan. Those goals are: • Economic Development and Transportation • Education • Public Safety • Human Services Citizen committees can be invaluable to local government because they communicate public concerns and allow what should represent a community voice.

However, nowhere in the job description are there criteria for appointees. This means the people who are appointed have no background checks, have no ethical requirements, can have strong party affiliations, do not have to be objective, and are not required to represent the voices of all.

Robert Duecaster, in addition to writing letters to the Manassas Journal Messenger and Potomac News, posts on Black Velvet Bruce Li under the name "Advocator." Duecaster/Advocator also posts elsewhere on the Internet regularly. He speaks at Citizens' Time and uses rhetoric from hate groups. Some of the quotes come directly from Black Velvet Bruce Li; I am quite sure Greg L. the owner, will remove some of them. In addition, Mr. Duecaster strongly recommended children of anyone with immigration paperwork issues be denied public K-12 education. Per the U.S. Supreme Court, no child shall be denied a public education no matter what their citizenship. Duecaster does not see an issue with allowing children to roam the streets while school is in session. Please read the quotes below to understand the kind of person John Stirrup listens to, supports, and models. I warn you that these are offensive. Then, please write to your local government and ask that they revise requirements for committee appointments which have been called "gentlemen's agreements." Urge them to consider that hatred, advocating violence, and open discrimination has no place in our government.

Anti Muslim and Insulting Veterans

http://www.govexec.com/mailbagDetails.cfm?aid=38720 As a young officer that had to deal with the trash we accepted into the Armed Forces in the early ’70’s, I appreciate Mr. Wilson’s admonitions and thank him for raising the red flags by writing his book during that terrible period.A return to the draft, or any semblance of it is the wrong answer. Giving our leaders a blank check to use (or abuse) the greatest resource this country has to offer (our youth) is a prescription for another disaster. It was that unchecked power to use what was thought to be a cheap and unlimited resource that encouraged the recklessness in Vietnam in the first place. Our politicians should pay dearly for the use of our young people, and dollars seem to be the only entity that gets their attention. The one event that would trigger greater interest in young people joining the Armed Forces would be to correctly name the present struggle we are in. It is not a “Global War on Terrorism.” It’s a war against Islamic Facsism. Once the enemy is identified correctly, the patriots will respond.Robert L. Duecaster Posted December 5, 2007 9:41 AM.

Anti-Affirmative Action against Minorities

The doctrine of “affirmative action” or “diversity” is so lacking in merit that those who support it can only ascribe sinister and hateful motives to those of us who understand and point out its insidious and pervasive effects on our government and culture.

Advocator said on 14 Apr 2008 at 10:34 am: What’s even more ironic is the fact that el Pape will be here bemoaning how some jurisdictions have “treated” the illegals. He’ll disregard the facts that we’ve educated their anchor babies, provided social services, indulged their vulgarities, cleaned up their trash, and provided them with a higher standard of living and more freedoms than their own countries used to give them. He’ll berate us for not embracing them wholeheartedly, for not allowing them access to our universities at the expense of our own children, and for not rewarding them for violating the sanctity of our borders. He’ll be pandering to them to gather members to replace those who left the Church due to the institutionalized approval of his priests’ penchant for little boys’ behinds. “What I find ironic is that the Pope will preach to us to accept the Illegal Invaders so that his church can replace its members who have left due to the incessant kiddie diddling of its priests.”

So legal residents can make a decision on whether or not they want to remain in a jurisdiction that has that expense. It may turn out that the number is so minimal and the expense so low that our time and effort would be better spent on other issues.

The best we could do for the citizens of Mexico and for our own country would be to distribute hundreds of thousands of M-16 and AK-47 assault rifles to the campesinos so they could get rid of their corrupt leaders themselves. We should issue an assault rifle to every illegal alien we deport back to those cesspools of corruption.

Advocator said on 19 Aug 2007 at 3:23 pm: While “Trac Ing” and a few others may be just liberal shills for the Zapperteesters masquerading on the blog as racists, the sentiments he/she expresses may well be those of many in the general population, due to the frustration they are experiencing in dealing with this issue. People are angry, and they are prone to direct that anger at the wrong targets - the illegal aliens themselves. As I’ve said before, the targets of your frustration and anger should be those politicians, at all levels, who have allowed this infestation to occur and fester. People like George Allen, recently sighted at the PWC fair testing the public trough to see if he might be allowed back at it to slurp again. People like Frank Wolf, who continues to dodge the problem and put more effort into the Lost Boys of Darfur than the lost neighborhoods of his district. Then there’s Jorge (spit) Bush and his horde of Tex-Mex mafia who profit from allowing open borders. I got a call recently to attend a Bob Fitz Simmonds’ fundraiser where Frank Ostrich, I mean Wolf, was the main attraction. As much as I wanted to attend, I told the polite young caller that I’d better not, as I didn’t think I’d be able to restrain myself from physically assaulting that traitor to the American people. It’s people like Wolf that deserve the full force of your anger, your frustration and your action. The illegals are as much as, if not more, victims of their tyrannical inaction as we citizens are. They should be run out of this country first, then we can start deporting the illegals. The federal politicians are not the only villains in this invasion. Since 2005, it’s been illegal in the state of Virginia to provide public benefits to illegal aliens. Do you think that law is followed in the counties in NoVA? Do you think any county supervisors have checked to see how (or if) their social services directors have implemented that law? These supervisors the folks responsible for the degradation of your neighborhoods, the proliferation of crime, the dumbing down of your schools, the wasting of your tax dollars. Call them names, not the illegals who are just taking advantage of the situation. Damn them to hell for all eternity for giving away what you, your parents, and all those who came before us built. And when you get the chance, vote them out of office, regardless of what party they claim affiliation. Conspiracy Theory Belief

Advocator said on 25 Feb 2008 at 10:54 am:I suspect that this “housing crisis” was planned. Governments at all levels are getting into buying up foreclosed upon houses, ostensibly to offer them to low income families. It’s one more way for the gummint to gain control of property, thus control the wealth, in this country.http://www.bvbl.net/index.php/2008/02/25/manassas-park-you-dont-need-to-know/

Anti-Police Chief Deane

We have laws on the books that are perfectly adequate for addressing the day labor site issue. What we lack are a police chief and leaders with the will to enforce them. Advocator said on 30 Apr 2008 at 4:00 pm: Anon2 and Riley: That is exactly why I originally drafted the Resolution to provide that every police officer, in every stop of every person, would inquire into legal residence status. Such a policy would obviate the need for cameras, probable cause determinations, and all the rest of that black hole of litigation. Why it got changed, who changed it, and why are a big mystery that’s never been adequately explained.

Origin of the Immigratin Resolution From HSM's Frontline Newsletter
by Maureen Wood, City Council Candidate

Well written, enforceable laws are among our most powerful weapons in the fight to reclaim our broken community. With assistance from the Immigration Reform Law Institute(IRLI), HSM is working diligently to influence our local governmental leaders to employ all the legal tools at their disposal in the fight tobring order out of the chaos brought upon us by illegal aliens. Recently, the HSM legislative committee, working with Supervisor Stirrup and the IRLI, helped craft the Prince William County ordinance addressing county services for illegals. Special thanks toHSM member Robert Duecaster for writing the initial draft. SupervisorStirrup used Duecaster’s draft todevelop the final resolution passed unanimously on July 10, 2007 bythe PW Board of County Supervisors. Duecaster also created an online petition, urging Governor Kaine to implement a statewide287(g) program (see link below).Much effort goes into researching issues, statistics and data. In future newsletters we will be sharing someof that research with you. If you have any questions, data to share,or if you would like to become involved with the legislative committee, please contact me. http://www.petitiononline.com/VA287g/petition.htmlReports from the Field PAGE 3A Fair to Remember

The great Wall of Shame.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I say that those who want this fence don't understand the border, don't understand the sense of community.
Along the border, a string of opposition groups ranging from municipal leaders to private landowners continues to argue against the proposed project.

The project will continue despite the controversies and most likely carry on to the next administration. Both major presidential candidates voted as Senators in favor of H.R. 6061 in 2006 and remain committed to the project. The fence will be an important issue for immigrant communities – especially Mexican and Hispanic groups – which see the construction of the barrier with skepticism.
No Mexican official has met with the International authorities or commented on the situation. It is expected to change when the International Boundary and Water Commission provides information regarding this matter and grave concern regarding the U.S. entry into Mexican soil by 20 meters, an act which is, according to the plaques on the obelisks, ‘a severe penalty’ of international law,”

I didn't came here to break the Law. I came because I need to feed my childrens

Know days the Immigration Law goes beyond morality and decency because they keep families divided, encourage the exploitation of migrants by employers and enable abuse by Anti Immigrants groups and human traffickers.

The bishop in the nation's most heavily Roman Catholic state called on U.S. immigration authorities to stop arresting Undocumented immigrants in mass sweeps in Rhode Island and allow federal agents not to participate if they feel the raids violate Christian teachings
.
Bishop Thomas J. Tobin, head of the Diocese of Providence, made the request in a letter to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Boston that was published on the diocese's Web site today.
His letter comes during a heated debate over Undocumented immigration in Rhode Island, where authorities recently raided six Rhode Island courthouses and arrested 31 people, mainly Hispanic immigrants who are overwhelmingly Catholic. In a separate raid, ICE agents apprehended 42 suspected Undocumented immigrants in Newport and Middletown.
The letter, signed by 15 priests, urges ICE agents to consider the morality of their actions.
"If their discernment leads them to the conclusion that they cannot participate in such raids in good conscience, we urge them not to do so. If ICE agents refuse to participate in immigration raids in conformity with their faith and conscience, we urge the Federal Government to fully respect the well-founded principles of conscientious objection," the letter said.

In an interview with a Journal reporter today, Tobin said he had invited the pastors to meet about three weeks ago after hearing anecdotally from parishes around the state that many Hispanics were afraid to leave their homes to attend Mass, were shopping at night for fear of being picked up and were not enrolling in school their children, who are American citizens.
"Now when we get involved in that area -- the ability to practice their faith -- that becomes a concern for me right away,'' Tobin said.
He continued that the diocese recognized that some immigrants are here illegally. "But keep in mind many of them are here because the system itself is broken. We've gone two decades... with this current immigration policy that has enabled and allowed this situation to develop.
"People who came here did not come here with the express purpose of breaking the law. They came to make a living for themselves and their families and the government has allowed that to happen ... because of the lax interpretation of immigration laws and the fact that there hasn't been enforcement.''
He added, "I know for sure what Jesus would not do. He would not sweep into a community, gather up large groups of people, separate family members, one from another and deport them to another country. I know for sure he would not do that.''
Later today, ICE spokeswoman Paula Grenier said of Tobin's letter:
"The men and women of ICE have sworn an oath to uphold the laws of our nation and it is a duty and responsibility we take seriously. While we fully intend to continue to enforce the law, I would stress that we do so professionally and with an acute awareness of the impact that enforcement has on the individuals we encounter.
"While we have great respect for Bishop Tobin and his colleagues, we believe their congregations and communities would be better served by helping individuals to comply with the law or working to change those laws rather than asking law enforcement agents not to enforce it
."
Earlier this year, Governor Carcieri issued an executive order aimed at cracking down on Undocumented immigration. He said he did so because the federal government has dropped the ball on immigration reform and left state taxpayers to pick up what he said are the considerable costs of Undocumented immigration.
Several R.I. religious leaders decried that order, including Tobin, and asked Carcieri to reconsider it, saying it threatened to ignite widespread vitriol against immigrant communities.
Today, Tobin also said, "I think we need to work toward good laws. But in the meantime, treat people decently.''
Roman Catholic and other faith leaders have repeatedly criticized immigration raids that target migrant workers as opposed to Undocumented immigrants who are violent or commit crimes.

Exposing the blind side of Lou Dobbs in the War on Drugs and Broken Borders.

I used to like CNN, in days gone by they actually reported news, now alas they have dropped all pretense of news and have become the mouthpiece of whoever pays most, and that seems to be whoever is in the White House!

The worst offender of this sleazy bunch has to be Lou Dobbs. Day after day we are introduced to new and inventive ways that the Undocumented are taking over the US, and undermining the very fabric of our society!

I used to think that Rush Limbaugh, and Glenn Beck was an insufferable bore, but Lou has elevated this genre to a new level! If there was an Oscar for bigoted idiot reporting, I would cast my vote for Lou Dobbs

American authorities allege three of the accused travelled to New York from Canada to try to buy weapons, including missiles, launchers and AK-47s. The men are also charged with fundraising and money laundering through "front" charitable organizations and U.S. bank accounts.
Money to bribe a U.S. official - traced during an international anti-terrorism probe aimed at the Tamil Tigers - came from Montreal, the FBI said Thursday.

And two of the men arrested in the bribery case are former Montreal residents, adding more Canadian connections to a widening probe that has seen six other men from Canada arrested on charges of aiding a foreign terrorist organization, including money laundering, smuggling equipment and people, and trying to purchase anti-aircraft missiles, machine-guns and other military equipment.

Tens of thousands of dollars from Montreal were earmarked as a bribe for a U.S. federal agent who was posing as a corrupt immigration officer, pretending to allow Tamils to illegally enter the United States, the Federal Bureau of Investigation alleged in a sworn criminal complaint filed in a New York court.

The money's path was tracked as part of a large sting operation mounted by the FBI against alleged operatives of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), commonly called the Tamil Tigers, an organization banned as a terrorist group on both sides of the border.

So far a total of 14 people have been taken into custody in the joint FBI-RCMP probe.

First, three Canadians of Tamil descent were accused in New York City on the weekend of trying to buy military hardware after driving across the Canada-U.S. border to meet with a man they believed was a black-market arms dealer, but who was a federal agent, and a Tamil man, who co-operated with U.S. authorities in their probe.

Three other Canadian residents were arrested this week by the RCMP in Ontario, including an engineering graduate from the University of Waterloo who is accused of arranging student couriers to smuggle equipment into Sri Lanka to further the Tamil Tiger's cause.

A third set of criminal complaints unsealed in a New York court, against three people arrested in Buffalo as part of the FBI's probe, now reveal further Canadian links.

Thileepan Patpanathan and his brother, Sujeepan Patpanathan, moved to Buffalo from Montreal about six months ago, said Rodney O. Personius, a Buffalo lawyer who represented one of the men in court.

They lived in Montreal for about three years, he said.

The Patpanathan brothers are charged along with Logeswaran Krishnamoorthy of knowingly conspiring to bribe a public official to illegally bring other people from Sri Lanka. They were caught in a sting operation using the same Tamil informant.

An agent was introduced to co-conspirators as an officer with the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service who, for a fee, could help smuggle foreigners into the U.S. The man was, in fact, a federal agent and the meetings were recorded, the FBI said.

An offer of $6,000 US per person smuggled was offered, authorities alleged.

This is what I called Enter Trainment.

.

This what I called Enter Trainment because being a Sheriff (K. Jones)and go on public enterview for exposing about Undocumented Immigrants crossing the border each day, a week, a month and yearly.
And ignoring to showed the facts and sources of his statement. That's just sad and pathetic.
Know even sheriff, Police Chief, has made immigration a centerpiece for their re-election campaigns.
And Nativists, protectionists wants to seal the border. If we have an terrorist attack were they will run against? Their own border? The own Wall? or Point of no return?

Undocumented Immigrants taking jobs away?

What part of Supply and demand they do not understand? How can undocumented Immigrants can be seems out of Humanity? How come searching for a better life can become a crime? How come undocumented Immigrant can take jobs away from a American Citizen? When U.S. Citizen have a huge advantage on experience, language, and labor skills or undocumented Immigrants are a highly skilled working individuals and we do not want to recognized? What jobs are being taken away from U.S. Citizen? Or there is another conspiracy theory like Lou Dobbs trying to blame Mexico on Salmonella outbreak on Tomatoes?

Undocumented Immigrants do no paid taxes. Sounds familiar to you. You can't cut the meat with two nails;it's like one more nail in the coffin. Hypocrisy is not a family value.

Tax avoidance is the legal utilization of the tax regime to one's own advantage, in order to reduce the amount of tax that is payable by means that are within the law. By contrast tax evasion is the general term for efforts to not pay taxes.
In the United States "tax evasion" is evading the assessment or payment of a tax that is already legally owed at the time of the criminal conduct.
So if the Anti Immigrant Group Alipacus.net sole ownership by William Gheen didn't paid taxes as Damn Mexicans exposed
here then who's the ilegal criminal? Can we bring some justice? Can we enforce the rule of Law?

US senators have demanded a crackdown on offshore tax havens after a US congressional probe found tax evasion could be costing the US $100 billion a year.

On Friday, senators questioned the managing director of Westfield Group, an Australian firm, about its involvement with the LGT bank of Lichtenstein.

The Senate Permanent Sub-Committee on Investigations is looking at LGT Bank - and also the Swiss bank UBS - as part of a larger inquiry into wealthy US citizens who avoid taxes by hiding assets in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

But Peter Lowy, the managing director of Westfield Group, cited his constitutional right to not give self-incriminating testimony when called to answer questions.

'Hurting Americans'

The committee also said during the past week's hearings that UBS bank has roughly 19,000 Swiss accounts for US clients hiding $18bn in assets from the Inland Revenue Service (IRS)

Al Jazeera's Rob Reynolds says the two banks are being investigated for allegedly peddling sophisticated tax-evasion strategies to super-rich Americans, using their countries' banking security laws as a shield.

"The actions of a few to scam their way out of tax obligations hurt all Americans," Norm Coleman, a Minnesota Republican, said on Friday.

"A privileged few believe they are entitled to shirk their obligations and heap their tax liability on the sagging shoulders of other Americans to make up for what they evade."

The hearings on Friday came a day after the US Government Accountability Office said a building on the British Carribbean territory the Cayman Islands was being used by 18,000 companies, of which five per cent are US-owned and another 40 per cent to 50 per cent have a US billing address or other connection.

'Whistle-blower'

Politicians accuse Lowy and his father, Frank Lowy, of hiding $68m in a foundation formed by LGT bank.

The scandal emerged when Heinrich Kieber, a former LGT computer technician, revealed hundreds of names and account details to tax authorities.

He is now wanted for arrest by the European state of Liechtenstein.

Jack Blum, a lawyer for Kieber, told Al Jazeera that the system of tax evasion operates on a global scale.

"It is the tip of an iceberg because what we are only talking about are US persons, one bank, in Switzerland. We are not talking about the worldwide scope of it," he said.

"The worldwide issue is this - there has been a wealth transfer from a bottom chunk of the world population to the top one half of one tenth of one per cent. And they have escaped all kinds of scrutiny."

US tax authorities have since served legal papers on UBS, and in June a UBS executive pleaded guilty in a US court to tax fraud.

And at a hearing last week, an official from UBS AG testified that the bank would overhaul its offshore private banking business and co-operate with summons by the IRS to provide names of US clients with undeclared accounts.

Anti Immigrants going Beyond the Wall of Ignorance..

I had posted a few of post regarding John Tanton the person behind the Anti Immigrants and Extremists on the movement against the Legal and Undocumented Immigrant.
This video details the common origins of many of the country's leading anti-immigration groups and their ties to White supremacists.
